Biography

With nearly 30 years in UK immigration law and Corporate Migrations, Gary McIndoe, Founder and Managing Partner of Latitude Law, is an expert .

Gary McIndoe began his career at the Home Office, contributing to policy work during Hong Kong’s return to Chinese control in 1997.

Gary guides businesses through licensing, specializing in arts, entertainment, and high-net-worth individuals. He founded Latitude Law in 2007 and has steadily grown it , now with a 22-strong legal team handling a range of immigration services. He now serves as the Managing partner.

A registered foreign lawyer in Brussels, Gary operates from Manchester, Brussels and London. Recognized by Chambers & Partners and Legal 500, he’s a Thought Leader in Corporate Immigration for Who’s Who Legal 2024.

Since 2012, Gary has chaired the Electronic Immigration Network and is a patron of Middle Eastern human rights charity Salam DHR. Co-author of „Deportation – a Practical Guide“ (Law Brief Publishing, 2021), he regularly contributes to HR magazines and legal content providers.

Away from work, Gary is a keen cyclist for commuting, fitness & getting out into the countryside with friends. He likes to walk his Jack Russell Bella who, at 11 years, is still very spiritedly. Gary is always seeking out new music and likes to go to gigs in the many small venues that Manchester has to offer.
